Download and Install

You'll need an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch running the iOS 4.2 or better software.

If you are registered with us for beta testing, there are two ways to do it:

Directly on your device

  • Your device Safari web browser should be open.
  • If your device is new to the beta program:
    • download the mobile provision file here:  instaviz.mobileprovision. You may have to use your mailing list or Trac email address and password to authenticate.
    • The provisioning sheet should appear. Tap on Install.
    • A message Installing this provisioning profile will change settings on your (device). Tap on Install Now.
    • When the title of the sheet changes to Profile Installed, you can tap on the Done button.
  • Download version 1.19 (5 October 2011) from here:  instaviz.plist. You may have to use your mailing list or Trac email address and password to authenticate.
  • A message trac.pixelglow.com would like to install "InstavizBeta" will appear. Tap on Install.
  • The home screen will appear. InstavizBeta should load and install on your home screen.

Through iTunes on your computer

  • Your computer web browser should be open.
  • If you are new to the beta program, download the mobile provision file here:  instaviz.mobileprovision. You may have to use your mailing list or Trac email address and password to authenticate.
  • Download version 1.19 (5 October 2011) from here:  instaviz.ipa. You may have to use your mailing list or Trac email address and password to authenticate.
  • Drag both the instaviz.ipa and instaviz.mobileprovision files to the iTunes icon on the Dock. The InstavizBeta icon should appear in your Library > Applications sidebar.
  • Connect your iPhone or iPod Touch if it isn't already connected. Choose it from the iTunes sidebar.
  • Select the Applications tab and ensure that the InstavizBeta application is checked.
  • Click on the Sync button. iTunes should now install InstavizBeta on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

If you are not registered for beta testing, you can download the latest released version 1.10 from the  App Store.
